Don't put a Bummer on your Summer. Sometimes, people talk about how the summer season can bring a sense of gloominess, especially if you're experiencing low hormone levels. Hormones play a significant role in regulating our emotions, and when they're imbalanced, it can leave us feeling down, unmotivated, or even a bit blue during what should be a joyful time of year. Low levels of hormones like serotonin, estrogen, or testosterone can impact our mood, energy levels, and overall well-being. The Good News is, by addressing these imbalances through hormone therapy or other avenues, it's possible to restore the body's natural balance and rediscover the joy and excitement that summer has to offer! How can Hormone Therapy help the body? Bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) can really make an impact on how you feel during the summer. Imagine feeling more energized, happier, and ready to make the most of the sunny days ahead. BHRT utilizes hormones that are identical to the ones your body produces, which can help to restore balance and boost your overall well-being. More and More Americans are asking for BHRT to help optimize their hormones. Why not discuss with your physician how hormone therapy could help you have an amazing summer? Pellet therapy is a type of hormone replacement therapy where small pellets containing bioidentical hormones are inserted under the skin. These pellets release hormones into the bloodstream over time, helping to restore hormonal balance and alleviate symptoms associated with hormone imbalances. The effects of pellet therapy typically last for several months, and the treatment is customized based on individual hormone levels and needs. One of the great things that many people report about BHRT is a natural energy boost, increased mood and better sleep. When your hormones are out of whack, it's easy to feel tired and worn out. But with BHRT, people are saying you can say goodbye to fatigue and hello to an energized summer. Many people report about all the outdoor activities they're able to enjoy without feeling like they're running on empty or having joint pain. "Before I had my hormone levels tested, I never realized my mood swings could be caused by low testosterone! That's so crazy. And now that my levels are balanced, I feel so much more NORMAL now!" - Sarah, BHRT Patient Say GOODBYE to Symptoms Many people have said that hormone therapy has helped ease hot flashes, night sweats, and even give the libido a boost. Feeling more comfortable and confident in their own skin can truly enhance a summer experience. So, don't let hormonal imbalances hold you back when optimizing your hormones might help you make the most of this vibrant season! • Healing Pathways for Menopause

Menopause can leave you feeling dull, drained, and moody – not to mention it can bring about all of the other unwanted symptoms such as weight gain, low libido, hot flashes, and even sexual dysfunction. One of the common treatment options for menopausal symptoms is Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT), supplementing your hormone levels to rebalance your system. What is Menopause? Menopause is the end of a woman's menstrual cycle and fertility. It happens when your ovaries no longer make estrogen and progesterone, two hormones needed for fertility. Menopause happens naturally with age. The menopausal transition most often begins between ages 45 and 55. It usually lasts about seven years but can be as long as 14 years. Is There Anything You Can Do to Put it Off? No, it is not possible to delay or put off menopause. It is a gradual transition marked by a decrease in the production of reproductive hormones, specifically estrogen and progesterone. Menopause cannot be prevented or postponed as it is a normal part of a woman's aging process and is influenced by various factors, including genetics and overall health. There are however, ways to help alleviate the symptoms and to help you feel better again. Lifestyle changes A healthy diet and daily exercise may help manage your symptoms and better your health. Get rid of any bad habits like smoking or drinking too much alcohol. Avoid anything like caffeine and spicy foods. Keep your body regulated with a healthy lifestyle. Healthy lifestyle changes will help your body to perform regularly, however, they will not stop Menopause. Prescription Treatments Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy using testosterone, estrogen and progesterone can help relieve unwanted symptoms of hormone imbalance such as: hot flashes and night sweats, anxiety, brain fog and more, as well as help prevent osteoporosis. By replacing and optimizing vital hormones the body loses as we age, people are reporting feeling years younger & significantly healthier. What is Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT)? BHRT refers to the use of hormones that are structurally identical to the hormones naturally produced by the human body. It is a treatment approach that aims to restore hormonal balance and alleviate symptoms associated with hormone deficiencies or imbalances. Bioidentical hormones are derived from organic sources, such as plants, and are processed to have the same molecular structure as the hormones produced by the human body. These hormones can include estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone, among others. Bioidentical hormones can be prescribed in various forms, including creams, gels, pills, patches, or injections. The method of administration can vary from patient to patient and depends largely on their specific needs, and lifestyle. Medications can be administered daily, weekly, or even as infrequently as 4-6 months if you choose to use pellet therapy. What are the Benefits Reported by Patients? Increased energy, stamina and recovery Stronger libido with improved sensitivity. Increased muscle mass and decreased fat Clarity of mind and better memory Decreased joint pain and illness Don't let MENOPAUSE control your life. • Radiant Reshaping: Unveiling Your Best Self with Contour Light Therapy

Lights, Body, Action: Unveiling the Secrets of Contour Light Therapy Contour Light Therapy is a non-invasive procedure that uses low-level laser technology to target and reduce fat cells in specific areas of the body. It is commonly used for body sculpting and fat reduction. Contour Light, the revolutionary red light treatment system, activates the body’s natural healing response. It can stimulate the mitochondria to energize and cleanse the cells, while triggering the lymphatic system to detoxify the body. It also can offer numerous health benefits! What you can expect with a Contour Light Session During a contour light therapy session, a technician applies special paddles or pads containing LED lights to the targeted areas of the body. These LED lights emit a specific wavelength that penetrates the skin and is absorbed by the fat cells beneath. This interaction stimulates the fat cells, causing them to release their stored fatty acids, glycerol, and water. Once released, the body's lymphatic system naturally eliminates these substances from the body. The treatment is usually painless and does not require any downtime. It typically lasts for about 20-30 minutes per session, and multiple sessions may be recommended to achieve the desired results. The number of sessions can vary depending on individual goals and the targeted areas being treated. Who is a Candidate for Light Therapy? Contour Light Therapy is often used for body contouring, inch loss, and cellulite reduction. However, it's important to note that while it can help reduce fat in specific areas, it is not a substitute for a healthy lifestyle, including regular exercise and a balanced diet. It is generally recommended for individuals who are already leading a healthy lifestyle but have stubborn areas of fat that are difficult to address through diet and exercise alone. As with any medical or cosmetic procedure, it's essential to consult with a qualified professional or healthcare provider to determine if contour light therapy is suitable for you and to discuss the potential benefits and risks based on your specific circumstances. Find out if Red Light Therapy is right for you. Call TODAY to start living a better, healthier life! • Unlocking Sexual Wellness: Shockwave Therapy & Peptides - a Dynamic Duo

Many People Find it Uncomfortable to Discuss Sexual Wellness Sexual health is a vital aspect of overall well-being, and for many men, ED can significantly impact their quality of life. While various treatment options exist, shockwave therapy has emerged as a non-invasive, effective, and long-lasting solution. By addressing the root causes of ED - poor blood flow and micro-plaque buildup, shockwave therapy can promote sustained improvements in sexual function. When used with peptides, this innovative approach can offer a comprehensive solution to enhance sexual health. Understanding Shockwave Therapy Shockwave therapy is a non-invasive medical treatment that targets improvement of blood flow to the penis. In approximately 80% of ED cases, the narrowing of blood vessels and the accumulation of micro-plaque are responsible for inadequate blood circulation. Shockwaves, administered through a probe coated with a special gel, penetrate the affected area, breaking down micro-plaque and stimulating the growth of new blood vessels. This process restores proper blood flow, enabling men to achieve and maintain firm and rigid erections naturally. Promising Results of Shockwave Therapy Treatments Compared to other treatment modalities, shockwave therapy can offer several key advantages that make it an appealing option for men with ED: Longer Lasting Improvement: Unlike as-needed treatments such as pills, vacuum erection devices, or penile injections, shockwave therapy targets the erectile mechanism itself, which can lead to sustained improvements. Men are more likely to experience spontaneous erections without relying solely on external aids. Non-Invasive and Pain-Free: Shockwave therapy is a non-invasive procedure that does not require anesthesia or surgical intervention. Although some individuals may experience a tingling sensation during treatment, the overall procedure is well-tolerated and pain-free. Drug-Free Solution: Shockwave therapy provides a drug-free alternative, eliminating concerns about potential side effects or interactions with medications. In-Office Procedure: The treatment is typically performed in an office setting, offering convenience and accessibility to patients. Each session lasts approximately 15-30 minutes, and a total of six sessions is typically recommended for optimal results. Long-Term Results: Clinical trials have demonstrated encouraging outcomes, with approximately 99% of patients noticing positive results within one to three weeks. The effects of shockwave therapy can last for 2-3 years, depending on the severity of the treated ED and the presence of underlying conditions. Annual maintenance treatments are also recommended to sustain optimal performance. Pairing with Peptides for Sexual Health In conjunction with shockwave therapy, peptides are often recommended to further enhance the efficacy of treatment, and contribute to overall sexual health. Peptides are short chains of amino acids that regulate various biological processes in the body. Specific peptides, such as those targeting sexual function, can have beneficial effects when used in combination with shockwave therapy. Peptides can help improve erectile function by enhancing blood flow, promoting tissue repair, and increasing collagen synthesis. These properties contribute to the regeneration and rejuvenation of penile tissues, leading to improved sexual performance and overall satisfaction. In essence you are treating the cause and "not just using a band aid solution." Shockwave therapy with peptides can present a significant advancement in the field of sexual health, providing hope and renewed confidence to individuals seeking an alternate solution to their intimate concerns. • Healing the Prison Community

Life on Prison Row Life as a prison guard can be full of daily stresses - from loud noises, to being alert all the time, and listening to confrontations can take a toll on your body. For this reason, many prison guards and first responders are now seeking help using bioidentical hormone therapy and they're having amazing results! With optimized hormones patients report less unwanted symptoms like brain fog, depression and anxiety! Synthetic or Bioidentical Hormone Therapy? Hormone Therapy is a widely used and successful treatment for many patients, including men and women, to help achieve a better quality of life. Why is Hormone Therapy Important? As our bodies naturally grow older, our hormone levels may become deficient causing illnesses such as menopause in women and andropause in men. Everyone has 3 Hormones: Estrogen, Testosterone and Progesterone. Balancing these hormones can be extremely difficult for our bodies to do naturally. You may have Unbalanced Hormones if you experience any of these symptoms. Benefits from Hormone Therapy to treat low hormone levels include: Increased sex drive less depression less nervousness, anxiety, or irritability less fatigue less muscle weakness no muscle aches, tenderness, and stiffness less pain, stiffness, or swelling in your joints weight loss & less belly fat less night sweats no more insomnia easier time concentrating good memory Unbalanced hormones affect your body mentally and physically. Optimizing your hormones through Hormone Therapy can increase your level of energy and enhance your mood, which makes you feel better inside and out. What's the Difference between Synthetic and Bioidentical Hormones? Hormones are a chemical released by a cell or a gland in one part of the body that sends out messages to distant organs by complex biological processes to regulate physiology and behavior. Hormones play a significant role in the body and affect many different processes, including growth and development, metabolism – how your body gets energy from the foods you eat- sexual function, reproduction, and mood. Synthetic Hormones are made in a Scientific Lab that have been shown to have a greater array of negative side effects on the human body, since they do not come from any natural source. Our bodies natural hormones are very complex and it is very difficult to match the complexity in a lab. The body may or may not accept the hormones properly and may not function as well as Bio-identical Hormones do. Patients & doctors alike are loving bioidentical hormones for their easy application and AMAZING results. These hormones were first extracted from a natural source like plants, which are chemically identical to the ones your body makes, so you can absorb them easily. Bioidentical Hormones are a blend of all 3 hormones tailored specifically for each individual patient and can have many positive results. Because the body recognizes the bioidentical pellets as the same molecules you make naturally, they are absorbed steadily through the bloodstream for 3-6 months, and during that time the body can be hormonally optimized. “I’m a Guard at the Prison. A couple buddies of mine mentioned getting Hormone Therapy with Dr. Hatchett. I figured I would give him a call since I was so exhausted all the time & always stressed. After pellet therapy I have so much energy, I go to work, work out, and still have time for my Family and Friends. It’s really changed my Life, and it's all because of Hormone Pellets - I have referred 2 of my best friends already!“ -William M., prison guard Why You Should Consider Bioidentical Hormone Pellet Therapy Although hormones come in a variety of forms including pills, patches, creams, and gels, the most popular is the hormone pellets. Pellet therapy provides a customized dose for what your body needs, based on a simple blood test. Pellets deliver bio-identical hormones directly into the bloodstream 24 hours a day, each day, for up to 6 months, a benefit that pills, patches, creams, and shots just cannot provide. • Living Happier with Facial Aesthetics

Maintaining beautiful skin takes a lot more than just washing and daily moisturizing. As we age, our skin loses elasticity, and that forms fine lines and wrinkles. Even with an ideal routine, you're still inclined to lose volume and develop creases that can make you look older than you feel. If you've been feeling unhappy with your appearance, perhaps you should consider Aesthetic treatment options. Patients are reporting that they feel better on a daily basis, when they feel better about their appearance. BOTOX Botox is a quick and relatively painless procedure that delivers almost instant results. You do not need anesthesia or pain medication for Botox treatments, and the total process takes only a few minutes, depending on how many areas you’re targeting and how deep the wrinkles go, and many patients report results within a week. Botulinum toxin is a neurotoxin that relaxes muscles for up to several months. Botox will not erase your wrinkles. We recommend utilizing Botox injections not only to reduce wrinkles, but mainly as a preventative to wrinkles. The earlier you get Botox, the more preventative its effects are said to be, meaning, start before any wrinkles or fine lines in your face are obviously visible. Botox and Fillers have been known to treat a variety of medical conditions. It has been known to help relieve chronic migraines, normalize overactive bladders, lessen underarm sweat, realign crooked eyes, reduce eyelid muscle spasms, relax muscle tremors in shoulder and neck and reduce spastic upper limbs caused by the nervous system. FILLERS Fillers are used to help restore lost volume in the face. Some of these FDA intended uses include: Correcting moderate-to-severe facial wrinkles and skin folds, Increasing fullness of lips, cheeks, chin, under-eye hollows, jawline, and back of the hand, Restoring facial fat loss in people with human immune diseases, and correcting acne scars on the cheek. • Is it Important to Make Time for Intimacy?

Between kids, daily life & hormone imbalance maintaining a healthy & regular sex life with your partner may seem impossible. The pressure from society to have more sex is all around. We are dominated by a "sex sells" industry that can put stigmas surrounding what our sex life should look like causing unnecessary pressures on us. However, there are actual benefits when you make time for intimacy with your partner. Are you having regular sex? Let's see how it can benefit you & how you can get there! Tips to Help Make Time for Intimacy in a busy lifestyle. Before we get into the health benefits of having regular sex with your partner, it's important to discuss how you can get there. The adult video industry has led a large portion of our society to have incredibly high expectations on what our sex life should look like and can create doubt or embarrassment during intimacy with our partners. This is an important topic that no one seems to talk about but it's causing very real problems in thousands of relationships. This is your wake-up call!! It's time to reclaim your power over the situation & remember 2 VERY important facts: NO - you don't have to live up to the sexual stigma society has adopted & YES - your sex life can be fulfilling & empowering. Here are some tips that can hopefully help if you get stuck in a rut (or your head). Sex doesn't have to happen before bed! We are oftentimes too tired & drained from daily activities & sex is the last thing on our mind. Make it work for your schedule! It doesn't have to be a chore. Often we get in our head about it or anticipation from the expectation to be intimate takes over when in reality, if you just did it you would probably feel 10 times better! The less sex you have the less you need. This can become a cycle for many couples, maybe it's been too long so it's easier to avoid. Challenge yourself to try to be intimate in some way shape or form every night for a week & see how your mood about it changes. STOP STOP comparing, STOP focusing on what you think you should look like & be fully in the moment. DON'T SETTLE!!!!!!! I saved the best for last. Did you know 70% of women don't reach climax during intercourse? This is INSANE! Be open with your partner about what you want & take the time to coach or take the lead! If you don't know what you like, it's vital you take the time to learn your own body to find out! This will be the most life-changing & empowering thing you can do for yourself. Is It Important to Have Sex Often? There ARE real health benefits of regular intimacy . What is "regular" to you? This answer will be different for everyone but most couples average 1 time a week so we will use this as a baseline. Studies have shown that sex is extremely beneficial to our health. It activates various neurotransmitters that impact our brains and several other organs in our bodies. Here is how you can benefit: Build emotional intimacy Improve cardiovascular health Reduce stress Increase immunity Relieve pain Promote longevity Increase blood circulation Sleep better Improve confidence levels Feel better throughout the day Educate yourself on your sexual health It's important to note aging can make it harder to have regular & fulfilling sex. Here are some common scenarios women face as we age & what you can do about them: Hormone imbalance Low or imbalanced hormones can lead to a low libido - making sex the LAST thing on your mind. In fact, hormonal imbalances cause 70% of low-libido cases. As we age, our hormones change, especially during perimenopause and menopause. One of the most effective ways to treat low libido due to hormonal imbalance can be bioidentical hormone optimization. This therapy provides a customized dose for your body's needs based on a simple blood test. Pellets deliver bio-identical hormones directly into the bloodstream every day for up to 3-6 months, a benefit that pills, patches, creams, and shots cannot provide. Painful sex Low estrogen levels in women can decrease vaginal lubrication and thinning & drying of the vagina, making sex incredibly painful. Improving testosterone levels in women has been proven to help increase collagen in the vagina & strengthen the vaginal walls helping you have better & less painful sex! Inability to climax If your orgasms are becoming less frequent or intense, you could be experiencing sexual dysfunction. After being optimized with hormone optimization, patients report stronger and more frequent orgasms, increased natural lubrication & greater arousal. Ready to start taking control of your sexual health? Check out our featured partner offering Bioidentical Hormone Therapy. See if you may be a candidate for hormone optimization!

  • Turmeric is Effective as 14 Medications: Science Confirms with over 12,000 Studies

Most of us, by now, have heard about the wide-ranging effects of turmeric (curcumin) in the body including it's amazing anti-inflammatory benefits. With over 12,000 studies, science confirms that turmeric can also be as effective or even more effective than a variety of medications that many Americans take today. Check out the article below to learn more! Posted on: Tuesday, July 12th 2022 at 8:45 pm . Written By: Sayer Ji, Founder If ever there were a spice that puts existential fear into the bottom line of pharmaceutical companies, its turmeric. Here are a few thousand reasons why... Turmeric is one the most thoroughly researched plants in existence today. Its medicinal properties and components (primarily curcumin) have been the subject of over 12,000 peer-reviewed and published biomedical studies. In fact, our five-year long research project on this sacred plant has revealed over 800 potential preventive and therapeutic applications, as well as 250 distinct beneficial physiological effects. Given the sheer density of research performed on this remarkable spice, it is no wonder that a growing number of studies have concluded that it compares favorably to a variety of conventional medications, including: Lipitor/Atorvastatin(cholesterol medication) A 2008 study published in the journal Drugs in R & D found that a standardized preparation of curcuminoids from Turmeric compared favorably to the drug atorvastatin (trade name Lipitor) on endothelial dysfunction, the underlying pathology of the blood vessels that drives atherosclerosis, in association with reductions in inflammation and oxidative stress in type 2 diabetic patients.[i] [For addition curcumin and 'high cholesterol' research – 8 abstracts] Corticosteroids (steroid medications) A 1999 study published in the journal Phytotherapy Research found that the primary polyphenol in turmeric, the saffron colored pigment known as curcumin, compared favorably to steroids in the management of chronic anterior uveitis, an inflammatory eye disease.[ii] A 2008 study published in Critical Care Medicine found that curcumin compared favorably to the corticosteroid drug dexamethasone in the animal model as an alternative therapy for protecting lung transplantation-associated injury by down-regulating inflammatory genes.[iii] An earlier 2003 study published in Cancer Letters found the same drug also compared favorably to dexamethasone in a lung ischaemia-repurfusion injury model.[iv] [for additional curcumin and inflammation research – 52 abstracts] SUPPLEMENT SPOTLIGHT: Curcu-Gel® MY WELLNESS BY NATURE'S RECOMMENDED TURMERIC SUPPLEMENT Save 10% using promo code "mypath" at checkout! Prozac/Fluoxetine & Imipramine (antidepressants) A 2011 study published in the journal Acta Poloniae Pharmaceutica found that curcumin compared favorably to both drugs in reducing depressive behavior in an animal model.[v] [for additional curcumin and depression research – 5 abstracts] Aspirin (blood thinner) A 1986 in vitro and ex vivo study published in the journal Arzneimittelforschung found that curcumin has anti-platelet and prostacyclin modulating effects compared to aspirin, indicating it may have value in patients prone to vascular thrombosis and requiring anti-arthritis therapy.[vi] [for additional curcumin and anti-platelet research] Anti-inflammatory Drugs A 2004 study published in the journal Oncogene found that curcumin (as well as resveratrol) were effective alternatives to the drugs aspirin, ibuprofen, sulindac, phenylbutazone, naproxen, indomethacin, diclofenac, dexamethasone, celecoxib, and tamoxifen in exerting anti-inflammatory and anti-proliferative activity against tumor cells.[vii] [for additional curcumin and anti-proliferative research – 15 abstracts] Oxaliplatin (chemotherapy drug) A 2007 study published in the International Journal of Cancer found that curcumin compares favorably with oxaliplatin as an antiproliferative agenet in colorectal cell lines.[viii] [for additional curcumin and colorectal cancer research – 52 abstracts] Metformin (diabetes drug) A 2009 study published in the journal Biochemitry and Biophysical Research Community explored how curcumin might be valuable in treating diabetes, finding that it activates AMPK (which increases glucose uptake) and suppresses gluconeogenic gene expression (which suppresses glucose production in the liver) in hepatoma cells. Interestingly, they found curcumin to be 500 times to 100,000 times (in the form known as tetrahydrocurcuminoids(THC)) more potent than metformin in activating AMPK and its downstream target acetyl-CoA carboxylase (ACC).[ix] Another way in which turmeric and its components reveal their remarkable therapeutic properties is in research on drug resistant- and multi-drug resistant cancers. We have two sections on our site dedicated to researching natural and integrative therapies on these topics, and while there are dozens of substances with demonstrable efficacy against these chemotherapy- and radiation-resistant cancers, curcumin tops both lists: Cancers: Drug Resistant Cancers: Multi-Drug Resistant We have found no less than 97 studies indicating that curcumin can induce cell death or sensitize drug-resistant cancer cell lines to conventional treatment. View them here. [x] We have identified 28 studies on curcumin's ability to either induce cell death or sensitize multi-drug resistant cancer cell lines to conventional treatment. View them here. [xi] Considering how strong a track record turmeric (curcumin) has, having been used as both food and medicine in a wide range of cultures, for thousands of years, a strong argument can be made for using curcumin as a drug alternative or adjuvant in cancer treatment. Or, better yet, use certified organic (non-irradiated) turmeric in lower culinary doses on a daily basis so that heroic doses won't be necessary later in life after a serious disease sets in. Nourishing yourself, rather than self-medicating with 'nutraceuticals,' should be the goal of a healthy diet. • Health span vs. Lifespan: What's the Difference?

Want to know the secret to aging? Age HAPPY! 😊 Normally people think with old age comes the aches, pains, and limited mobility but it doesn't have to be that way! Let's talk about how your Healthspan varies greatly from your Lifespan! What is your lifespan? Your lifespan simply put is the number of years you are expected to live on planet earth. However, lifespan is defined as: "The length of time for which a person or animal lives or a thing functions." Life expectancy is a statistical measure of time you're supposed to live based on your current age, sex & the average age of mortality. So what is a normal lifespan? Americans in 2021 are estimated to live an average of 76.1 years, while American women are expected to live an average of 81.1 years! Data from the National Vital Statistics System Take a look at some of these Key findings on mortality in the United States, 2020 on the CDC's Website Life expectancy for the U.S. population in 2020 was 77.0 years, a decrease of 1.8 years from 2019. The age-adjusted death rate increased by 16.8% from 715.2 deaths per 100,000 standard population in 2019 to 835.4 in 2020. Age-specific death rates increased from 2019 to 2020 for each age group 15 years and over. Nine of the 10 leading causes of death in 2020 remained the same as in 2019, although 5 causes switched rank; heart disease and cancer remained the top 2 leading causes, and COVID-19 became the third leading cause of death in 2020. The infant mortality rate decreased 2.9% in 2020 from 2019 to a record low of 541.9 infant deaths per 100,000 live births. Health span vs. Lifespan: What's the Difference? Healthspan goes beyond normal life expectancy. Your Healthspan is how long you live a happy, healthy life. However, something to take note is the definition of "happy & healthy" varies from person to person. Most could agree living free from disease, still having your mobility & being able to do the things you love most can count towards a happy 7 healthy life. When it comes to Health span vs. Lifespan, there's definitely a difference. So what is the average healthspan in the US? The answer is 63 years! That's almost 20 years of life in comparison to the average lifespan. We live 20% of our life unhealthy and unable to do the things we love. How can I improve my healthspan? You want to feel good inside out for as long as possible! Right? Luckily there are ways to improve your healthspan and bridge that 20% gap. Here are some ways to naturally improve your healthspan: Start stretching Stretching plays a key role on whether or not you're going to be able to get around & avoid injuries like falling in your old age. With a normal stretch routine you can drastically improve your: Mobility, Flexibility, Posture, Reduce stress & prevent inhurt. Eat healthy Think of your body like a really fancy sports car that only takes premium oil. The more times you pump it with nonpremium oil the engine will start to die. Spend time with the people you love Are you playing an active role in your children's or grandchildren's life? If they are home with you make it a point to be more active and involved in their life. If they aren't stop waiting for them to call & pick up the phone and plan something! I know the daily stresses of life can be weighing on new parents or those with small children so make it your mission to make their life easier when you can. Not only will you strengthen the bond with your grandchildren but you will grow closer with your children also. Get an active hobby While exercise is an important part of being healthy it can be daunting to drag yourself out of bed to walk on a treadmill. This is why I encourage you to get a hobby you enjoy that just so happens to be active! This way you're doing something you love and the thought of "working out" goes away entirely. Appreciate your appearance When you look good you FEEL good! If you've let yourself go over the years try getting back the spark to look your best so you can also feel your best. In the video above Dr. Saurez talks about why she fell in love with the world of aesthetics to make her patients look and feel their best! Ready to look & feel your best for years to come?
