With over 25 years of nursing experience, Nurse Sunshine has worked in high-acuity environments including surgical ICU, burn ICU, medical ICU, emergency medicine, PACU, neurology, and neurosurgery. Her background has shaped a meticulous, safety-first approach to patient care, with a strong emphasis on assessment, education, and risk awareness. She is known for her ability to translate complex medical concepts into clear, honest guidance so patients can make informed decisions about their care.​

Dr. de la Cruz is a double board-certified surgeon. He trained at R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center, one of the most respected trauma centers in the country, and completed his surgical training at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. As a U.S. Army surgeon, he served during both Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom, providing surgical care in high-risk environments.

He currently practices as a trauma surgeon at a Level 1 Trauma Center, where he manages complex and life-threatening conditions daily. His presence ensures that every treatment at Arawan is physician-directed, medically appropriate, and held to the highest standard of care.
